Recent Advances in MIR

FSL and ZSL can be applied to various types of MIR tasks, especially those involved with fixed class vocabularies, to expand the model capacity to support unseen classes. Recent studies have shown promising results applying FSL/ZSL to tasks such as

• Classification

• Drum Transcription

• Music Source separation

In this part of the tutorial, we will discuss the techniques used in these recent works together with their findings and contributions.
